My ideas usually come as a beginning. But everyone is different. Maybe you just need to start where you want and come up with a beginning later on. That works for lots of people. When my son said that he couldn't think of a good beginning for his story this summer, I told him to write a bad beginning and fix it later, so that's what he did.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01445455787485222068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895958693998069385.post-18803974334176632102011-09-20T09:13:42.728-06:002011-09-20T09:13:42.728-06:00I write chronologically as well. There's always an exception to the rule, but barring those it's all about the order for me.Alicia Gregoirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660125614529633284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895958693998069385.post-71437177183156001582011-09-20T08:20:44.204-06:002011-09-20T08:20:44.204-06:00I write chronologically. I think it's more important to write the story first and come back to the beginning when every thing is said and done. Once you know the end, you'll know the right way to start. ;)Amanda Bonillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05983960181205765184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7895958693998069385.post-52202539729623967862011-09-20T08:14:12.489-06:002011-09-20T08:14:12.489-06:00I do write chronologically. I might get ideas for scenes that come later but I can't start writing until I've sketched out my plot to the point where I know where it starts.

That start might change drastically in edits but it's there.Stephanie McGeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16507025637411479409noreply@blogger.com
