Ahh one of my favorite quotes! And so true! I bet I get a good 85% of my ideas when doing the dishes. Something about the warm water and mindlessness of the task :)
I have been caught taking too long in the shower, folding a towel more than once, or taking forever to sweep a floor. Writing is such a mental exercise. Great quote!
Oh Agatha, so true. And as a mom, also, so necessary. ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for the compliments on my hair! :) I'm always changing it...
ReplyDeleteThat would mean I'd have to do the dishes. Don't tell my kids that.

ReplyDeleteOr loading the dishwasher. ;) I agree!
ReplyDeleteThat's probably true. Think about the book whenever you can. Me, I've always planned as I was about to fall asleep.
ReplyDeleteNah, I'll stick to thinking about it while I'm on a long motorcycle ride :)
ReplyDeleteNo dishes for me!
Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what I do. I hate how the dishwasher washes the glasses, so I do them by hand. Which is boring.
ReplyDeleteI also plan my novels while running. :D
*gasp* Windy, that is so true! Agatha really knew what she was talking about!
ReplyDeleteLOL I love Agatha Christie :)
ReplyDeleteOr in the tub, shower, while scrubbing the toilet or driving. Driving really does it for me.

ReplyDeleteSo, dirty dishes=writers block? That explains so much...
ReplyDeleteYour mind is free to wander.
